2015 FESTIVAL THEME: CLIMATE CONNECTIONS

DC_Environmental_Film_festival.jpgThe 2015 Festival will include a special thematic focus on Climate Connections. As the enormous effects of climate change become clearer each year, this series of EFF events, across the globe are adapting, and taking positive steps to protect our health, our economy and our environment. These programs will take an in depth look at the impact man-made climate change is having on cities and farms, oceans and rivers. The Festival will also highlight the inspiring stories of men and women seeking solutions: How can we build cities for a changed climate? What technological innovations will transition us to a clean, renewable energy future? What can individuals do to make a difference?

Discussion with subject Cary Fowler follows screening.
